Courses
GNEC currently provides short term courses of: English, Russian, Turkish, Computer Technology, and Mathematics. Each subject is taught in several difficulty levels and delivered in either 108 or 144 hours allocation. GNEC offers special classes of English and Russian for children under the age 12. Further enrichment of course list at GNEC is always looked into and under a continuous development.
English: Core Subject
English is taught based of knowledge level:
- English for KIDS
- Beginner
- Elementary
- Pre-Intermediate
- Intermediate
- Upper-Intermediate
- Advanced
These courses primarily focus on the gradual improvement of the following skills:
- Grammar
- Vocabulary
- Listening
- Writing
- Reading
English: Practice Course
This is a customized course to specifically target needs of the job market where students explore real-life usage and application of English language. Course curriculum is filled with far-reaching range of learning activities that acquire practical usage of English. Some of the significant activities done are:
- Learning idioms
- Public Presentations
- Public speeches & debates
- Job application process
- Formal Writing & Preparing CVs
- Job interview in a real company
- Making short films
Computer Technology
Computer technology courses target basic computer literacy as well as other specific areas of information technology. Twelve areas of computer technology courses are offered and each area is furnished with proper technology applications and programs.
